“The day was extremely beneficial and the skills learnt have been applied on a daily basis. One particular example would be when a client needed a venue in a fixed location, with fixed dates, and a fixed budget, but the one available venue was coming in over budget. Using techniques from the course, and working with the venue, we managed to negotiate on the rates by reducing the 24 hour rate and waiving supplement charges, and also added value to the booking by upgrading to picnic lunches and including ground hire, therefore making it affordable to the client but also meeting all of their requirements. We now have a very happy client and a very happy venue!”
