Yarnfield Park, part of The Venues Collection, are looking for a Conference Sales Executive, working within the sales team at Yarnfield Park in Staffordshire to secure new conference, training and accommodation sales across a variety of market sectors.

The Venues Collection are a unique collection of eight mid-range venues . We bring people together, offering them spaces to meet, spaces to sleep and spaces to celebrate. From large scale conference, small meetings, team building and every business trip in- between to weddings, family get togethers and weekends away with friends and loved one. Whatever guests need we have space for it.

Primary purpose: 

• To handle incoming enquiries from all market sectors
• To develop and manage client accounts
• To work closely with other members of the sales team to develop major accounts

Supporting responsibilities: 

• Achieve personal sales target and key performance indicators
• Develop pro-active conference, meeting and accommodation enquiries
• Manage the sales process from initial enquiry to signed contract
• Maintain a pro-active approach in following up of all enquiries to increase conversion rate
• Conduct new business site tours at Yarnfield Park
• Liaise with other departments to ensure successful event delivery
• Help deliver familiarization trips
• Attend operational meetings as required
• Adhere to all health and safety, quality procedures and unit standards

Qualifications and experience: 

• Previous experience working in a conference or hotel sales environment
• If not, then from a related or aligned industry
• Demonstrable and excellent sales record in the conference (or related) industry
• Appreciation of the importance of customer care
